This exquisite 200m2 restored riad is both dramatic and grand, and situated enviably on the smartest derb in the Medina in Dar Bacha.

As can be seen from the photos, it has been well maintained and is in exceptionally good decorative order.

The highly decorative style of the riad is not altogether common, or typical in Marrakech. It is from Fez – where architectural detailing was richer and more ornate.

The original detailing has been beautifully preserved:- from the stunning marble and zellij floors, to the woodwork including the extra-ordinary front door and unique hand painted upper courtyard cladding.

In fact, the only modern edition to the property is the new band of ceramic wall tiling, which should be stripped away.

Every detail is a work of art.

Interestingly, the generous courtyard has been internalized providing the property with a massive chunk of highly decorative living space, which is complimented on each end with two stunning seating alcoves, or bhous.

The 3m dhs price is negotiable.
