I am so excited about Chic Marrakech taking on this renovated riad as exclusive medina property agents.

It is one of my all time favourite riads and owned by my best friends in Marrakech – a delightful English couple.

This medina property was several years in the making – and has always been one of the most popular riad hotels since it was opened over ten years ago.

It is brilliantly designed – and maximises all of its space.

The property is 200m2 and boasts seven well appointed bedroom suites.

The riad is very much a luxury boutique hotel and offers clients every comfort and is meticulously managed.

The overall design is super easy on the eye – with its wonderful palette – classic Moroccan architecture and funky furnishings and design features – such as the oversized Bill Willis fireplaces.

It is a spacious house – with a lovely spread of space – and the owners spared no expense in their decor.

All of the lighting throughout the riad was hand made by the renowned lamp artist – Yahya – and the night time mood lighting in the riad is superb with his specially created lamps.

At present the riad boasts on the ground floor a reception, a generous entrance hall, a colonnaded patio with a pool, an office, a kitchen, a salon with a feature fireplace and two bedrooms. On the first floor is an open salon and five bedrooms. Then on the roof terrace is a bar, a solarium, a bedroom, and a spa / hammam.
