This ancient 360m2 riad absolutely has it all. Period.

It is beautifully proportioned and graciously laid out in a grand majestic fashion.

The house is situated in an unbeatable prime location – in the most ancient sector of Old Marrakech in Ben Youssef – with immediate street access on the main quartier thoroughfare.

Immediately upon entry – in the imposing entrance hall – one is hit with a sense of antiquity – and essence – and grandeur – and as the house opens out in the patio – the detailing in it and the volumes are just sublime.

Hopefully this evident from the photographs.

To be inside this house – is to experience first hand the full sheer beauty of traditional medina homes.

It really offers everything;- from the thick lush verdant courtyard – with its trickling central fountain, to its architectural finesse.

Needless to say – I cannot eulogise more.

It is interesting to note that the house was one of the first projects that Quentin Wilbaux undertook in Marrakech and it boasts the beginnings of his signature work.

In its current condition the house would benefit from some refurbishment.

At present the riad boasts on the ground floor a triple entrance hall, a colonnaded patio with a central fountain, a guest bathroom, three vast lofty salons, a vast original kitchen, a back alley, a douirya and an outside shop. On the first floor are three colonnaded balconies, an apartment with stunning original plasterwork and a Zouaki ceiling, and six rooms.
