This is the most decorative and beautiful small riad I have ever seen in the Marrakech Medina.

It is a stunning 140m2 titled house at only 750,000 dhs.

It is situated in the atmospheric old Jewish area of the Mellah – where houses were always more open and decorative, and boasted more decorative street facades – with, uniquely, windows facing out on the street – so they have a less enclosed feel.

The house is littered with exquisite antique decorative design details – and old wooden cladding – unique to the Mellah. This is particularly the case with the old wooden ceilings and cladding on the first floor and terrace level.

Then one of the salons on the first floor has three exquisite old plaster domes on the ceiling with exceptionally rare paintwork and sculpting.

There is so much internal space and the layout is brilliant.

What is more – the price is a steal – as there are no titling costs.

It is super cool and a really modest overall spend.
