This ancient palace is quite simply out of this world.

It is the most spectacular 520m2 palace – built in the last great construction period of Marrakech in the 1600s at the beginning of the Alaouite dynasty.

It is very much of the grandiose style and grandiose scale of the wonderful buildings of that epoch – when artisanal craftsmanship flourished throughout the Moroccan empire and it was at its high point – when all the finest buildings of the medina were built such as the madrasa and Ben Youssef.

Everything about the house is utterly impressive. From its triple gated entrance – to its vast colonnaded courtyard garden with open oriental bhous, its palatial rooms with antique ceilings, and its three douriyas.
